One would expect to see Sweden, Denmark and Spain competing hard at this stage for the top two places in Group F. The surprise package has been Northern Ireland, however, who have really given the big boys a fright and cannot be written off to go all the way, given the inconsistency of the other teams.
Sweden and Spain are the favourites to succeed, but Denmark and Northern Ireland in particular have a game in hand over them and Spain’s lead is precarious especially given their notorious ability to choke in important matches. This group could go any way and will be an interesting one to watch until the very end.
